All About Relationships and Education

The podcast can be found here, Relationships and Education

Not to teach a student early on in life that everything is a relationship and the main principles behind this concept would be folly. Why would the concept of relationships be so important, the answer is simple, because everything is in a relationship. Nothing in existence is truly free in that it is in a relationship.

The first law of information, the first law of everything is that everything is in a relationship resulting in a loss of freedom due to the energy needed to maintain such relationships. What is being discussed is education, it would then be best to look at relationships from the viewpoint of disciplines of knowledge.

Everything is information, why don’t we say everything is energy. Energy is very broad word and no matter how one tries it remains broad. Being broad it has enough concepts to deal with without lumping everything on top of it. Information is more precise a terminology in every essence, scientifically and philosophically and linguistically. Information is around what is collecting that information, in this case around the human. Everything is information because it informs you what it is. Everything that can inform one of what it is, it is all made up of the same stuff and has the same basic characteristics, one of those being that everything is in a relationship and those relationships lead to a loss of freedom due to the energy needed to maintain those relationships.

It is scientifically correct to say relationships lead to a loss of freedom due to the energy needed to maintain them. There is an example of the broad use of the term energy. Then one must look at the type and within type quality of that energy.

A key characteristic of information is that everything is discrete as it is discrete, all information can be used to compute. Counting 2 stars and adding another 2 stars will lead to 4 stars. Adding 2 humans to 2 humans will lead to 4 humans adding 2 electrons to 2 electrons will lead to 4 electrons. Just as quantum particles have been tamed to do our calculations in our modern electronic gadgets, a monstrous thing of enormous power in our definitions of power could also do the same with humans. Rows upon rows and columns upon columns of human beings acting upon the will of this monstrous evil for them to watch their versions of cartoons.

If everything is in a relationship the categorization of information is by similarities of relationships. Each discipline in the educational curricula, more importantly in life is a categorization of education. This is a biology class, this is a geography class, this is a music class, all these are classifications of disciplines of education, as a result of the classification of knowledge. This classification of knowledge is all about similarities in relationships of information, similarities in the way information loses its freedom due to relationships needing energy to maintain them.

What can be picked up when we understand the categorization process, it is self categorization and humans learn to see the similarities and thus anywhere on this earth a human understands this  is a rock, this is a bird categorized according to similarities in relationships and loss of freedom. Due to relationships we know something is what we have termed a bird because the information is constrained due to relationships into being a rock. This is the same with a bird.

It must never be forgotten that the bird and the rock are made up of the same stuff. This information is constrained because it is in a relationship. Another reality of information reveals itself that we had not considered, just as it is reality that all information is discrete, it is random, it can compute, we can add that because all information, everything is in a relationship and relationships take energy to maintain resulting in a loss of freedom all information is constrained. All patterns of information are due to this reality that everything is constrained, that is a relationship.

When something is categorized, we are classifying by constraints on information in a thought pattern that would not be wrong. Since the bird and the rock are made up of the same stuff. A discipline studying birds is studying the same stuff as one who studies rocks, but merely different relationships and constraints of that same stuff. All disciplines are merely studying different manifestations of the same stuff, different relationships of the same stuff.

The disciplines, the category of knowledge dealing with Relationships around particles has been named quantum mechanics. The category of relationships that deal with the distribution of resources in a society we have called economics. Power relationships we have termed politics. The type of relationships humans had in the past we have called this history. What type of relationships one needs to understand to protect oneself has been called self defence. Within that broad discipline of self defence there are styles that concentrate on different types of relationships that we have so many styles.

When we understand that there are so many different martial arts, styles of self defence we understand the importance of the concept of referencing, so that we understand where something originally came from. All knowledge can be refenced, because it all came from somewhere. Even a great discovery can be referenced, it’s thoughts can be traced to the past, to some past relationships and the person who makes the discovery, especially concerning laws of existence, has been in a relationship with those facts.

Take for example the discovery of a new wonder pill. The discovery just did not happen from know where. There was reference made to past knowledge, otherwise it would be impossible. That marvelous quantum theory has to have referenced past knowledge; the discoverer must have had a relationship with this knowledge somehow. To come to a fact, one needs to have had relationships in the past that led to a conclusion.

When talking of disciplines, when considering relationships that deal with particles, we call this discipline quantum mechanics. When dealing with relationships related to the exploitation of resources and who should get the rewards this discipline has been called economics. Relationships dealing with power balance in society has been called politics. What kind of relationships did human beings have in the past, this discipline we have termed history. What relationships did we have with musical instruments, this discipline we call history of music. All studying different aspects of the same thing.

That every discipline is studying the same thing, but different energy loses to maintain different relationships is the reality. This makes it a necessity for a student to know this before they specialize, to at least know that everything is information and that what ever discipline they may choose in life, they are working with understanding that it is all different manifestation of information.

Understanding that everything is in a random relationship and that those relationships lead to a loss of freedom because of the energy needed to maintain them. Knowing this reality as one leaves high school will allow themselves to judge the world better, is randomness at work in society, is randomness at work in my professional discipline, what quality of energy is maintaining a relationship, a realistic view of the world over and above mere opinions, make the case for ones opinions stronger.

Accepting the reality that everything is in a relationship and the principles behind that reality allows one to compare things as they are not as one wishes. Take an atom, it has a nucleus and electrons around this nucleus so to say. Theoretically, some electrons can be in the nucleus, all of them at some point in time. But it is best to be simple at first, around the nucleus are the electrons.

Having this relationship, a question can be asked, given this relationship between electrons and the nucleus of an atom, what political system best exemplifies this in the organization of human society? One can answer whatever they like, communism, socialism, feudalism, neo liberalism, fascism, theocracy, imperialism, racism, liberty, slavery, African traditionalism, aristocracy, oligarchy, any answer one wishes. However, one must be able to justify that answer given the reality of an atom, the question is around the atom and what political system best exemplifies this in human organization.

To make a true comparison we must understand the relationships between the electron and the nucleus, as they really are. A picture offers a static view rather than a dynamic view and is not enough for one who does not comprehend the reality fully behind a picture. One has to understand the context behind the picture.

The reality, even the outdated “solar system” model of the relationship between electrons and the nucleus of an atom understood that the relationship has energy being constantly added and subtracted. The positions of the electron is never constant, with modern understanding of the structure of the atom electrons can be inside the location that is defined as the nucleus.

With enough energy electrons can be added or subtracted to the relationship, thus the number of electrons need not be constant given the reality of existence. With enough energy the nucleus itself can cease to exist as it is. All these factors around the atom must be considered, the best understanding we have of the relationships at play, it is not so ordered as a single illustration of a “solar model” of the atom would suggest.

With a single “solar system” illustration of the atom with no context, ones answer to what social system does the relationship between electrons and the nucleus of an atom best resemble. The simplest answer of course is on the lines that every electron knows its place and so too do the components of the nucleus, whatever one chooses the nucleus to represent. The idea of randomness has no play and the atom is indestructible merely because it exists, randomness has no effect om its existence. This is far from reality.

The position of the electrons is more random than merely circling a sun like nucleus. The position of the electrons is random in a specific area around the nucleus, idea of everything is constrained comes to play. This area not only surrounds the nucleus but includes the nucleus such that at times the electron can be inside the nucleus. It does not matter where it is as long as it is in a specific area around the nucleus such that a definitive relationship can be established.

An answer of comparing an atom to the organization of society must include the random position of the electron. If one’s answer excludes this factor it can not be a true reflection of the relationships inside an atom.

Not forgetting that in some instance’s electrons are added and subtracted all depending on the location and relationships around that location. At times neutrons and protons are lost. This is the reality.

The answer to the question what socio – economic system best resembles an atom? The idea of randomness must be everywhere in the answer, in the justification of one’s answer. When dealing with the socio economy every good and service is the result of the human mind determined by location. Every piece of knowledge anything that a human knows is from a human mind. Your parents potty trained you, reading a book is somebody’s mind passing knowledge they probably got from other people adding their own insights. All knowledge has a reference point, parents first teach you how to hold a spoon, with life you will adopt holding a spoon to your likes, but still there is the reference, your parents taught you how to use a spoon.

A system that acknowledges that randomness is an underlying principle of reality, knowledge must be influenced by the principles of randomness. An economies primary resource is the knowledge of that society and the applications of that knowledge, who produces a good or service is always random. Who will discover the next scientific principle is always random, even though odds are different according to location, not forgetting in that location there is also a general relationship of the culture towards knowledge.

That all disciplines are studying different manifestations of the same thing means that a discovery of a principle in any discipline adds to the knowledge base of society. This is just a reality, and in reality society prioritizes what type of knowledge it wants according to the culture of that society.

It is important to understand that the discipline of statistics can be applied in most if not every discipline or profession. Statistics informs us of the general behaviour of information. How many uppercuts a boxer threw in a fight is statistics. Watch a boxing match or an MMA fight, any sport, football, soccer, baseball, cricket, rugby, hockey, the commentator will be giving out statistics throughout the event. Statistics help us to better understand what is going on than merely watching the game.

When looking at the growth of a germ culture statistics are at play, to find the pattern, we understand everything is in a relationship because of the vital role statistics plays in quantum mechanics and quantum mechanics played the most significant role in us understanding that everything is in a relationship.

Stockbrokers need data that can only be analysed by using statistics, that is how one gets to a buy or sell recommendation.

That is how insurance companies come up with best ways to maximize profits They analyze data using statistics and they come up with best formulae for their executive board to get maximum rewards.

We know by understanding principles of radioactive that statistically how correct are we likely to be when we measure the date of something. We statistically know so much about carbon dating that we can with better accuracy guess the time period of flesh.

Political polls are nothing but the use of statistics. The accuracy of statistics depends on the complexity of the relationships that they are tallying.

Statistics can be applied in every discipline and profession because it is a tool that is used to tell us how information behaves and is behaving. Statistics helps to see patterns in the random. No matter how much one believes an event is predictable, it is random. Being a tool to for intelligence to analyze information, as all disciplines look at different manifestations of the same thing, information, it makes sense that a tool that informs us of the behaviour of information can be used in every discipline.

Understanding everything is about relationships simplifies things to what relationships things are in and what type of energy is being expanded to maintain those relationships. To know something just follow the relationships.

Before answering sensitive questions that determine the directions of entire societies within those boundaries, they must ask themselves the relationships involved, how has the idea of randomness been affected, you can never give an honest answer without considering relationships, often documents are available for one to make their decision over and above hear say. Understanding the reasons why the concepts of randomness have been tampered with, at worst due to taste, will allow one to appreciate their society as it is.

If the socio-economic landscape is not as random as one feels it should be, they can ask themselves who is gaining free food and ask themselves why? How they answer the why is somebody gaining food without being involved in the production process that would be their view of the world, how much they accept everything is in a relationship.

Never forgetting the second law of information, an information package will remain in its present state unless a relationship is established. Since everything is in a relationship the second law affects everything.

One will understand as they evolve even in school changing friendships, other relationships are established. As one matures more pertinent relationships occur over puppy friendship, food, quests, politics.

But one will understand that if one is in a choke hold, that is not a good relationship, they need to establish a new relationship, get out of the choke hold.

A historian understands how states, societies, kingdoms and empires have collapsed in the past, new relationships where added and eventually the society changed.

Relationships to be maintained need energy, thus new relationships also need energy to maintain them. The old relationships must first be broken up, and this takes energy, the energy must be greater than the energy holding the relationship together if that relationship is to be broken.

We see this in the smelting of ores, to get the metal out of the ore a tremendous amount of energy is needed but it happens, the metal is separated from the sludge by heat.

The first and second laws of information need to be known, because they precede the laws of Newton and are much simpler and encompass everything, including the laws of Newton and Einstein.
