All About Relationships and Education

The podcast can be found here, Relationships and Education

Not to teach a student early on in life that everything is a relationship and the main principles behind this concept would be folly. Why would the concept of relationships be so important, the answer is simple, because everything is in a relationship. Nothing in existence is truly free in that it is in a relationship.

The first law of information, the first law of everything is that everything is in a relationship resulting in a loss of freedom due to the energy needed to maintain such relationships. What is being discussed is education, it would then be best to look at relationships from the viewpoint of disciplines of knowledge.

Everything is information, why don’t we say everything is energy. Energy is very broad word and no matter how one tries it remains broad. Being broad it has enough concepts to deal with without lumping everything on top of it. Information is more precise a terminology in every essence, scientifically and philosophically and linguistically. Information is around what is collecting that information, in this case around the human. Everything is information because it informs you what it is. Everything that can inform one of what it is, it is all made up of the same stuff and has the same basic characteristics, one of those being that everything is in a relationship and those relationships lead to a loss of freedom due to the energy needed to maintain those relationships.

It is scientifically correct to say relationships lead to a loss of freedom due to the energy needed to maintain them. There is an example of the broad use of the term energy. Then one must look at the type and within type quality of that energy.

A key characteristic of information is that everything is discrete as it is discrete, all information can be used to compute. Counting 2 stars and adding another 2 stars will lead to 4 stars. Adding 2 humans to 2 humans will lead to 4 humans adding 2 electrons to 2 electrons will lead to 4 electrons. Just as quantum particles have been tamed to do our calculations in our modern electronic gadgets, a monstrous thing of enormous power in our definitions of power could also do the same with humans. Rows upon rows and columns upon columns of human beings acting upon the will of this monstrous evil for them to watch their versions of cartoons.

If everything is in a relationship the categorization of information is by similarities of relationships. Each discipline in the educational curricula, more importantly in life is a categorization of education. This is a biology class, this is a geography class, this is a music class, all these are classifications of disciplines of education, as a result of the classification of knowledge. This classification of knowledge is all about similarities in relationships of information, similarities in the way information loses its freedom due to relationships needing energy to maintain them.

What can be picked up when we understand the categorization process, it is self categorization and humans learn to see the similarities and thus anywhere on this earth a human understands this  is a rock, this is a bird categorized according to similarities in relationships and loss of freedom. Due to relationships we know something is what we have termed a bird because the information is constrained due to relationships into being a rock. This is the same with a bird.

It must never be forgotten that the bird and the rock are made up of the same stuff. This information is constrained because it is in a relationship. Another reality of information reveals itself that we had not considered, just as it is reality that all information is discrete, it is random, it can compute, we can add that because all information, everything is in a relationship and relationships take energy to maintain resulting in a loss of freedom all information is constrained. All patterns of information are due to this reality that everything is constrained, that is a relationship.

When something is categorized, we are classifying by constraints on information in a thought pattern that would not be wrong. Since the bird and the rock are made up of the same stuff. A discipline studying birds is studying the same stuff as one who studies rocks, but merely different relationships and constraints of that same stuff. All disciplines are merely studying different manifestations of the same stuff, different relationships of the same stuff.

The disciplines, the category of knowledge dealing with Relationships around particles has been named quantum mechanics. The category of relationships that deal with the distribution of resources in a society we have called economics. Power relationships we have termed politics. The type of relationships humans had in the past we have called this history. What type of relationships one needs to understand to protect oneself has been called self defence. Within that broad discipline of self defence there are styles that concentrate on different types of relationships that we have so many styles.

When we understand that there are so many different martial arts, styles of self defence we understand the importance of the concept of referencing, so that we understand where something originally came from. All knowledge can be refenced, because it all came from somewhere. Even a great discovery can be referenced, it’s thoughts can be traced to the past, to some past relationships and the person who makes the discovery, especially concerning laws of existence, has been in a relationship with those facts.

Take for example the discovery of a new wonder pill. The discovery just did not happen from know where. There was reference made to past knowledge, otherwise it would be impossible. That marvelous quantum theory has to have referenced past knowledge; the discoverer must have had a relationship with this knowledge somehow. To come to a fact, one needs to have had relationships in the past that led to a conclusion.

When talking of disciplines, when considering relationships that deal with particles, we call this discipline quantum mechanics. When dealing with relationships related to the exploitation of resources and who should get the rewards this discipline has been called economics. Relationships dealing with power balance in society has been called politics. What kind of relationships did human beings have in the past, this discipline we have termed history. What relationships did we have with musical instruments, this discipline we call history of music. All studying different aspects of the same thing.

That every discipline is studying the same thing, but different energy loses to maintain different relationships is the reality. This makes it a necessity for a student to know this before they specialize, to at least know that everything is information and that what ever discipline they may choose in life, they are working with understanding that it is all different manifestation of information.

Understanding that everything is in a random relationship and that those relationships lead to a loss of freedom because of the energy needed to maintain them. Knowing this reality as one leaves high school will allow themselves to judge the world better, is randomness at work in society, is randomness at work in my professional discipline, what quality of energy is maintaining a relationship, a realistic view of the world over and above mere opinions, make the case for ones opinions stronger.

Accepting the reality that everything is in a relationship and the principles behind that reality allows one to compare things as they are not as one wishes. Take an atom, it has a nucleus and electrons around this nucleus so to say. Theoretically, some electrons can be in the nucleus, all of them at some point in time. But it is best to be simple at first, around the nucleus are the electrons.

Having this relationship, a question can be asked, given this relationship between electrons and the nucleus of an atom, what political system best exemplifies this in the organization of human society? One can answer whatever they like, communism, socialism, feudalism, neo liberalism, fascism, theocracy, imperialism, racism, liberty, slavery, African traditionalism, aristocracy, oligarchy, any answer one wishes. However, one must be able to justify that answer given the reality of an atom, the question is around the atom and what political system best exemplifies this in human organization.

To make a true comparison we must understand the relationships between the electron and the nucleus, as they really are. A picture offers a static view rather than a dynamic view and is not enough for one who does not comprehend the reality fully behind a picture. One has to understand the context behind the picture.

The reality, even the outdated “solar system” model of the relationship between electrons and the nucleus of an atom understood that the relationship has energy being constantly added and subtracted. The positions of the electron is never constant, with modern understanding of the structure of the atom electrons can be inside the location that is defined as the nucleus.

With enough energy electrons can be added or subtracted to the relationship, thus the number of electrons need not be constant given the reality of existence. With enough energy the nucleus itself can cease to exist as it is. All these factors around the atom must be considered, the best understanding we have of the relationships at play, it is not so ordered as a single illustration of a “solar model” of the atom would suggest.

With a single “solar system” illustration of the atom with no context, ones answer to what social system does the relationship between electrons and the nucleus of an atom best resemble. The simplest answer of course is on the lines that every electron knows its place and so too do the components of the nucleus, whatever one chooses the nucleus to represent. The idea of randomness has no play and the atom is indestructible merely because it exists, randomness has no effect om its existence. This is far from reality.

The position of the electrons is more random than merely circling a sun like nucleus. The position of the electrons is random in a specific area around the nucleus, idea of everything is constrained comes to play. This area not only surrounds the nucleus but includes the nucleus such that at times the electron can be inside the nucleus. It does not matter where it is as long as it is in a specific area around the nucleus such that a definitive relationship can be established.

An answer of comparing an atom to the organization of society must include the random position of the electron. If one’s answer excludes this factor it can not be a true reflection of the relationships inside an atom.

Not forgetting that in some instance’s electrons are added and subtracted all depending on the location and relationships around that location. At times neutrons and protons are lost. This is the reality.

The answer to the question what socio – economic system best resembles an atom? The idea of randomness must be everywhere in the answer, in the justification of one’s answer. When dealing with the socio economy every good and service is the result of the human mind determined by location. Every piece of knowledge anything that a human knows is from a human mind. Your parents potty trained you, reading a book is somebody’s mind passing knowledge they probably got from other people adding their own insights. All knowledge has a reference point, parents first teach you how to hold a spoon, with life you will adopt holding a spoon to your likes, but still there is the reference, your parents taught you how to use a spoon.

A system that acknowledges that randomness is an underlying principle of reality, knowledge must be influenced by the principles of randomness. An economies primary resource is the knowledge of that society and the applications of that knowledge, who produces a good or service is always random. Who will discover the next scientific principle is always random, even though odds are different according to location, not forgetting in that location there is also a general relationship of the culture towards knowledge.

That all disciplines are studying different manifestations of the same thing means that a discovery of a principle in any discipline adds to the knowledge base of society. This is just a reality, and in reality society prioritizes what type of knowledge it wants according to the culture of that society.

It is important to understand that the discipline of statistics can be applied in most if not every discipline or profession. Statistics informs us of the general behaviour of information. How many uppercuts a boxer threw in a fight is statistics. Watch a boxing match or an MMA fight, any sport, football, soccer, baseball, cricket, rugby, hockey, the commentator will be giving out statistics throughout the event. Statistics help us to better understand what is going on than merely watching the game.

When looking at the growth of a germ culture statistics are at play, to find the pattern, we understand everything is in a relationship because of the vital role statistics plays in quantum mechanics and quantum mechanics played the most significant role in us understanding that everything is in a relationship.

Stockbrokers need data that can only be analysed by using statistics, that is how one gets to a buy or sell recommendation.

That is how insurance companies come up with best ways to maximize profits They analyze data using statistics and they come up with best formulae for their executive board to get maximum rewards.

We know by understanding principles of radioactive that statistically how correct are we likely to be when we measure the date of something. We statistically know so much about carbon dating that we can with better accuracy guess the time period of flesh.

Political polls are nothing but the use of statistics. The accuracy of statistics depends on the complexity of the relationships that they are tallying.

Statistics can be applied in every discipline and profession because it is a tool that is used to tell us how information behaves and is behaving. Statistics helps to see patterns in the random. No matter how much one believes an event is predictable, it is random. Being a tool to for intelligence to analyze information, as all disciplines look at different manifestations of the same thing, information, it makes sense that a tool that informs us of the behaviour of information can be used in every discipline.

Understanding everything is about relationships simplifies things to what relationships things are in and what type of energy is being expanded to maintain those relationships. To know something just follow the relationships.

Before answering sensitive questions that determine the directions of entire societies within those boundaries, they must ask themselves the relationships involved, how has the idea of randomness been affected, you can never give an honest answer without considering relationships, often documents are available for one to make their decision over and above hear say. Understanding the reasons why the concepts of randomness have been tampered with, at worst due to taste, will allow one to appreciate their society as it is.

If the socio-economic landscape is not as random as one feels it should be, they can ask themselves who is gaining free food and ask themselves why? How they answer the why is somebody gaining food without being involved in the production process that would be their view of the world, how much they accept everything is in a relationship.

Never forgetting the second law of information, an information package will remain in its present state unless a relationship is established. Since everything is in a relationship the second law affects everything.

One will understand as they evolve even in school changing friendships, other relationships are established. As one matures more pertinent relationships occur over puppy friendship, food, quests, politics.

But one will understand that if one is in a choke hold, that is not a good relationship, they need to establish a new relationship, get out of the choke hold.

A historian understands how states, societies, kingdoms and empires have collapsed in the past, new relationships where added and eventually the society changed.

Relationships to be maintained need energy, thus new relationships also need energy to maintain them. The old relationships must first be broken up, and this takes energy, the energy must be greater than the energy holding the relationship together if that relationship is to be broken.

We see this in the smelting of ores, to get the metal out of the ore a tremendous amount of energy is needed but it happens, the metal is separated from the sludge by heat.

The first and second laws of information need to be known, because they precede the laws of Newton and are much simpler and encompass everything, including the laws of Newton and Einstein.

The Theory of Everything: Newton, Information, Complexity, and Evolution

Quoting from the Polaris Project website, Isaac Newton’s first law can be stated as “Every mass, or body, be it at rest or moving, will not alter its present state unless acted upon by an external force.” The other laws of Newton flow from the logic that is implied in this first law.

By merely stating that a body will not alter its present state unless acted upon by an external force immediately implies the second law of Newton that, “The change in direction or speed of an object, is proportional to the amount of force acting on that body. The change in motion is also in the direction in which the force is acting.”

It is when we understand information for what it is can we reappreciate the thoughts of Newton. This idea, this reality of information has its roots from those who pursue quantum physics, some times they call themselves quantum mechanics, sometimes particle physicists, what ever suites you, but a select few of these thinkers hit on the reality of information and have passed it on. Though this reality coming from quantum physics, it is a much bigger concept than quantum physics, everything includes every discipline known to mankind, it’s all dealing with information even when they are doing things like trying to control the rain through a dance.

Informationis everything, everything is information even nothing is information, nothing is part of everything. The most basic information is the elementary particle.” Immediately one can go into philosophy, if nothing informs us there is nothing how can the elementary particle be everything, be the most basic piece of information, maybe physics has not come to an end. But be warned before you go into mysticism the entire known material is matter, we are looking at the roots of matter, the basic particle. But this philosophical question is beneath the laws of everything. This answers the questions is traditional philosophy superior to science no, because the clearest definition of information comes from quantum physics.

By answering the idea of information and rightfully concluding that information is everything, though from a premise that had no idea or a concept of understanding what everything is. Quantum physics followed an ancient line of thought, the first traditional philosophical milestone. What is a human being? So there is absolutely no need to frown on another, the question of what is a human being quantum physics answered that right down to quantum entanglement. Quantum physics answered that human beings are just like everything else we can detect presently, a human being is an information package.

Why appreciate Newton again. It is because when we understand information when understand how close Newton was to the theory of everything, destroyed merely by pursuit of alchemy, the times, Newton was around a long time ago, to only have missed entanglement is not bad, his first law only misses entanglement, not a bad achievement, not a bad thought for the times, we are watching television today all remotely controlled of course, a very different time from Newton.

If we say information is everything, we need at least one fact confirming from it beyond the mere statement that information is everything. “The first law of information, the first law of everything is that every relationship has a loss of freedom. We can put it at it’s most crude as every relationship has a cost.” A meaningful way to understand the first law of everything is from Suzanne Ngatai on a comment she made on Google + “when information is identified it therefore categorizes itself by 'being' therefore the cost is also the 'not being' of something else that comes along with this categorization…” She managed to unite the concepts of cost and freedom from the definition, obviously, the author of the first law of everything had no idea that the two concepts could be united so perfectly. Her comments will come useful in helping to understand how Newton is ‘new’ again as he enhances information and opens other doors not possible to imagine if a few bright sparks in physics told us and convinced us that information is everything.

Before getting to Newton let us understand why the first law of everything is bigger than the question if nothing informs us there is nothing how can the elementary particle be the most basic piece of information? The question seems sticky, but if that nothing can achieve a relationship there will be a loss of freedom. What can be outside the law of everything, the question can not be answered, it is foolish to even try, how do you know there is nothing, because nothing has informed you of itself and categorized as nothing. Whatever will be discovered will have no choice but to fall under the first law of everything even if it must be categorized outside a particle. Even if this is a hologram and there is a God out there, creator of it all, he has a relationship with his hologram.

Newton’s first law can be translated into the thoughts of everything, into the logic behind information being everything understanding that its first law is unbreakable.

Recalling Newton’s first law, every mass, or body, be it at rest or moving, will not alter its present state unless acted upon by an external force, let’s attempt to understand this strictly in terms of information. If this is successfully achieved, Newton helps explain evolution, it is not difficult, an information package will remain in it’s present state unless a relationship is established. This could very well be considered the second law of information, the second law of everything. Even if this is a hologram and there is a God out there, before creation of the hologram there was no relationship with the entity.

Newton has inspired the second law of information, immediately stepping above any subject whose laws are limited to particles, if anything out there exists that is not a particle, it too will remain subject to both laws of information, both laws of everything.

By understanding both laws in unison we begin to understand complexity better, but more importantly a very important concept of complexity, the evolutionary process. That we have a thumb is a cost, that is why it is important to understand words for being words, to understand that a cost, a loss of freedom is not necessarily a bad word, we are the products of incredible amounts of different categories of information in relationships upon relationships, humans are very complex. A huge variety of information is locked in our composition.

Complexity is a process that involves many variables, many pieces of information all in a relationship, it thus becomes more unpredictable. Understanding of complexity is aided when one understands information, starting first with the reality that everything is information. Multiple relationships will involve multiple forces.

We can not conclude what information prefers to remain as is or to change but we do know change requires a relationship and a loss of freedom. This of course need not be a bad thing, it is a neutral thing, remembering Suzanne Ngatai’s statement “when information is identified it therefore categorizes itself by 'being' therefore the cost is also the 'not being' of something else that comes along with this categorization…” That is all the cost is, don’t think of it as a reward, sometimes information packages are completely destroyed but the same process has occurred, a relationship, it is a cost even if it is as beneficial as evolution.

We do know that information prefers to survive, we generally abhor suicide, why didn’t the victim march on with the struggles of existing as a human being. Matter seems to have abolished anti matter from its surroundings in order to survive and thrive.

Evolution occurs because an information package needs to change to survive its environment, so that it can survive as best as possible given that it would be sharing a lot of space with different information packages. Given the circumstances a cheetah developed speed to survive its environment, a polar bear developed power and thick fur to survive its surroundings.

At one time, all bears had a common ancestor. Having a common ancestor means at one time they where all very much similar. The common ancestor is like the basic design. Having a common ancestor meant at one time all bears where similar information packages without great differentiation genetically, less variety than exists today.

Moving towards a cold environment the polar bear subconsciously desired more fur and blubber, a way to keep warm in the new environment it has found itself in. The conscious is just a part of our mind, our mind functions as our control center, it’s us, it is nothing more than organized information, just a complex machine, a complex computer.

Every thought, every desire, every emotion is merely a result of how information is organized in the brain. Our actions are a result of the relationship we have with our minds, and the way our minds are organized depends on how information is organized, we call this being wired, one can think of being wired as a giant computer, organized in 1’s and 0’s, how our 1’s and 0’s are organized depends on our experiences, are we racist, tribalism, believer in science as best language science can easily be tarnished by man, you just don’t publish those you hate and envy, so it is not a universal language, because everything is affected by politics, by how humans are wired/ programmed.

Information wants to survive in the most stable manner as possible. If this necessitates entering a relationship it must accept these costs to continue existing. Iron is reactive, it must accept to being oxidized if it exists in an oxidized environment, this relationship must be for iron to exist, that is how iron has come to be, those are its properties.

Life too wants to survive, that is why it adapts. One can see clearly the second law of information, inspired by Newton in action at the most complex of levels. The second law of everything not forgetting that it should scientifically be called law of information, snobbery aside the two are identical, but we know what something is because it informs us what it is. An information package will remain in it’s present state unless a relationship is established is the second law of information. The bears would all have remained the same if it was not that they had a relationship to their new found environments, affecting their subconscious, having a relationship with the rest of the body the genes adapted to fulfill this relationship with the subconscious need for survival. Evolution and complexity in general will never defy the second law, it makes us understand.

Our relationship with the environment gave us a thumb and a larger brain, though the larger brain is far more important. The polar bear preferred more muscle to break the ice, and more blubber to survive the extreme cold. Some animals like the crocodile, the shark stopped evolving millions of years ago. Their subconscious did not see the need to change, no relationship established the shark and crocodile remained as are since the days of the crocodile. The sharks and crocodiles saw themselves as the best as they could be subconsciously hence the lack of evolvement, but humans continued to strive such that we are still evolving. Crocodiles and sharks not evolving for millions of years means there was no information in the mind desiring improvement, hence they remained as are thanks to the second law of information that an information package will remain in its present state unless a relationship is established.

That there are two laws of everything suggests that the theory of everything is a big concept, we can understand evolution from it, as well as why iron rusts, the laws of everything, the laws of information can be considered a discipline. But the laws must be consistent in every discipline, in every way, they must be unbreakable.

A Concern from Thermodynamics

As usual an after editorial is added if and only if there is a major concern, I mention names when it is to uplift, but will not mention a name because if the person is not mature enough to understand it is merely a discussion, there are problems, but obviously to make an edition ones opinion is respected. But this concern with thermodynamics is real.

Thermodynamics is an inspiration for this theory of everything, but it has many shortcomings, please note I already wrote an article information and the origins of entropy, yes entropy was an inspiration but not a complete theory. Let us look at entropy, not forgetting it was the initial inspiration for a theory of everything.

The first law of entropy is known as the law of conservation of energy. Really, what about anti matter. That is all to be said on the first law, does anti matter break it, if it does, it is not a law of everything, it is steam engine physics, an isolated system, not everything.

The second law of entropy says things cannot be reversed, but in smelters, ancient man 30 000 years ago had smelters, creating pure elements copper, iron, That is why it is important to read other works, the isolation of information is reversing the process, that is how we know things because information could be isolated, pure iron last existed after super novas, man has reversed the process, taking oxidized iron ore and purifying it in furnaces. Processes can be reversed, here is a good journal piece to read just to understand isolation of information, the piece is called why economics is a science, information the grand unifier

Think about it, when you switch of a television you can do the reverse, switch it on, thermodynamics is therefore not about information, but a segment of information, things are reversed everyday, information reverses everyday, thermodynamics has limited principles applicable to the theory of everything. You change your mind back after thinking a decision, thermodynamics is too limited.

The third and final law of thermodynamics suggests at absolute zero there is no activity, have these people tested dark matter, is there no activity at absolute zero?

Theory of everything is simple, and some straightforward scientists like Newton were close, thermodynamics is not close, but was first inspiration long before Newton and his inspiration for the second law of everything. Thanks, William Rice for the concerns you raised about Thermodynamics in LinkedIn, thanks, no show, this is just genuine response to concerns raised about merely generalization, that is true, but some things can not be sufficiently generalized.

Why a theory of everything, when we can get relationships that affect all things we are so much the better. If it seems so easy, it is because great thoughts have gone into it, subtracting this, adding that. A theory of everything is meant to be so easy that high school people can comprehend it, make it simple an we can see the entire picture.  As simple such that a high school art student understands everything is connected.

The two laws of information are complimentary, and simple, the first law information will remain in its present state unless a relationship is established, nothing changed, it was static. Then a relationship was established.

Once a relationship is established the second law comes into effect, there is a cost, matter annihilated and abolished anti matter, and we got our big bang, theoretically, but the laws remain true factually.

To get to the definition that information is everything costs billions, if not trillions of dollars, use it, it makes everything easier, even the existence of a God does not debunk the laws of everything, they are well vetted. You get pure iron from a smelter, process can be reversed, just taking more energy to reverse, a collider is just reversing the process, let knowledge flow forward, its information, forget that steam engine physics, Newton has been vetted correctly his inspiration can pass any test, step by step.
